European specialist insurer
A specialist insurer moves quote-to-cash into Salesforce and NetSuite
A European specialist insurer that sells through partners ran policy sales, orders and invoicing on an outdated system. Novera moved quote-to-cash into Salesforce, integrated with NetSuite, and gave large partners an API to order directly. Time spent on sales and ordering dropped by more than half, and invoicing time by more than 70%.

The client
A specialist insurer that sells its cover through partners, who offer it to their own customers.
The challenge
One old system did everything, from selling policies to sending invoices, and it ate a lot of the team’s time.
Large partners ordered policies by contacting the team manually. Sometimes an order arrived days late. In the worst case, a customer ended up without cover, and a claim became a real problem for everyone.
Month-end was its own pain. Invoices were produced one by one.
What we did
We started with a process review. Before proposing anything, we looked at how policies were sold, ordered and invoiced, and where the time went. That review, combined with our insurance and CRM experience, became the plan.
A streamlined policy sales flow. Selling a policy now happens in Salesforce, in fewer steps, with customer and order data in one place.
An API for large partners. Built on Salesforce web services, it lets the biggest partners place orders directly from their own systems. No email, no phone call, no delay between the sale and the cover.
Quote-to-cash connected to NetSuite. Orders flow from Salesforce to NetSuite, where invoicing and finance happen. Month-end invoicing runs in one click instead of one invoice at a time.
Dashboards for the business. Management sees sales, orders and invoicing at a glance, without building a report by hand.
Why it matters
For an insurer, speed is part of the product. A policy that arrives too late is worth nothing. Moving orders and invoicing into one connected flow gave the team its time back and took the coverage gap off the table.
